Today was M’s birthday, but also her elementary school’s field day event. I went to shoot photos of the class. That was so so lovely day, sunny, hot, but there are bunch of water activity which kids enjoys a lot. I took over 2000 pics and chop down to around 1000 (how screwy I am…)

I went to M’s school to see her reading. The class has the poetry tea party this day and all student presented one of haiku, diamante, “I am”, and so one. M picked diamante, which I thought she should pick haiku, but doesn’t matter, she did good job. I am proud of her, of course.

Valentine

I went to M’s elementary school in order to help/join the valentine party. We made the box which she has in the picture. That’s for exchanging the cards and gifts by children. She collected lots of them.

This is the Japanese section which we presented. We displayed Japanese calligraph, some Japanese dolls, play Koto songs, play Sumo, showing slide show and boards about Japan, blah, blah, blah.

Today was M’s elementary school’s international day.
