Today was M’s birthday, but also her elementary school’s field day event. I went to shoot photos of the class. That was so so lovely day, sunny, hot, but there are bunch of water activity which kids enjoys a lot. I took over 2000 pics and chop down to around 1000 (how screwy I am…)

Miss.M is now 8. She successfully negotiated her parents to get favorite books “Puppy place”, her first Webkinz and cute bag&shirts from Justice. Happy birthday to my little girl now not so little. Time flies.

I went to M’s school to see her reading. The class has the poetry tea party this day and all student presented one of haiku, diamante, “I am”, and so one. M picked diamante, which I thought she should pick haiku, but doesn’t matter, she did good job. I am proud of her, of course.

Since M went to b-day party and got the butterfly face paint. K wants same thing on his face too…and he decided to do his own, by himself, and this is the result.

M got the face painting at her friend’s b-day party. It is the butterfly one according to her. Indeed it looks like that. She was excited about it and after got back to home, she try add some by herself, ….. and off course messed up.

We have taken M’s kimono picture on belated Hinamatsu. Usually it should be done on March 3rd. But we did it on the weekend. There is a superstition that the girl’s marriage will be late if we are late on stashing the doll by next day of Hinamatsuri… So, we are late….who knows.
